Solid Thai food. Sweet Thai tea and excellent service.
Like always, delicious
My favorite Thai spot... just got the cheese wontons, so crispy. Waiting on our usual, check en pad thai and Chinese sausage fried rice.
love the the duck meat they have here. Portions are small, on the pricey side, but it's delicious with entrees you wouldn't find anywhere else. Would recommend to a food explorer, but if you're the type who just likes the simple thai stuff, like me. I would find a cheaper place.
Good location and nice quite setting. Food was OK but not big portion. Service is fair. We went on Sunday night, not that busy. I would consider go back if their portion is bigger compare their price.
Honestly my favorite Thai place in the east bay. My go to order is pad see you and golden squid and the coconut milk soup. They deliver on uber eats and I’ve been inside a few times too. This place is legit
Great Food, Friendly Service, A Bit Challenging to Find Parking, But Never Ever Had A Bad Meal Here!
Best Thai I've found in the area. Their veggie coconut soup is excellent! Curry is fantastic, too.
This spot is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the cooking they cook is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious food and fast service. The waiters and bussuers are friendly and attentive to your every need.
Tasty thai cuisine.
Delicious food with a quiet atmosphere.
They will listen to every request you make and they do it very very well! The meat feels fresh and the potatoes are always cooked well. I always order Yellow Curry and it's my favorite place to get it!
Although it took a little bit for the staff to take my order, the food came out quickly. I ordered the egg rolls and the Tom Yum soup with tofu, which were both very good. The only negative was that I found cilantro in my soup, which I detest. The iced tea was very good, and my main dish, vegetables with cashews and tofu, was good, except for the overabundance of onions; there were more onions than anything else! I also saw that they had sticky rice with mangoes, so I had to get some. I was not disappointed--the portion was huge with sweet, delicious mango slices aplenty. Through no fault of theirs, it was fairly difficult finding a parking space, so I would suggest taking an Über or Lyft to Toomie's Thai. It has well worth it.
Food and service were okay but not particularly exciting. Certainly not the first place I would go again but in terms of convenience was a nice location.
Good place but could be better
My wife and I ordered Toomie's for the first time this week. We just moved to the area and were missing our old local Thai spot. We decided to give Toomie's a try and we were pleasantly surpised. Order Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Both were spot on and what we'd expect. Will definitely be trying Toomie's again. Plus, they do carry-out!
Super delicious foods here
We came here after a flight into Oakland airport and we were craving Thai food. Pleasantly surprised by this tiny restaurant in the heart of Alameda. In our home town all of the Thai restaurants have stopped serving real duck for some odd reason so it was great to see them offering proper duck. We ordered several dishes including the crispy duck, mango shrink, spicy noodles, and pumpkin curry. All of the dishes were good. The crispy duck was fantastic and the only dish left completely cleared at the end of the dinner. Overall a pretty decent Thai place and it was great to have a place that doesn't cut corners. The spicy food actually had spice to it unlike what we are used to. I'd love to go back next time I'm in the area.
My favorite Thai restaurant in the 5 mile radius. They have never messed up my order (I have very specific food allergies with alliums), which most other Asian restaurants cannot seem to manage despite repeat patronage. Rhe peanut sauce can have varying levels of heat depending on who's making it that day but it is usually very mild. our favorites are their pad see ew noodles with beef, which come with an ample serving of broccoli. All their curries are delicious and we cycle through them but the pumpkin or yellow curry seem to be our standard. Tom kha gai coconut milk soup is rich without being too heavy thanks to the citrusy lime juice and their satay/ praram (peanut sauce) dish is much more flavorful than some of the others we've encountered at other Thai places. Authentic Thai staff that knows the food brings authenticity to the meal.
If you are looking for good thai food, this is right place. Not great ambiance but amazing food and good & fast service
Awesome every time, food and staff!
Elegant and romantic place, excellent customer service, and delicious food..! I really like this place. I often visit here almost every once a week. I’ve been to all the Thai restaurants locally, and this place is my top 1. Highly recommended for all ages.
Food was good and fresh. Prices were good. Plenty of good choices on the menu. Its not as busy as some of the other places on Park. Which is nice when you want to be seated right away and get food quick.
Would surely recommend eating here. Awesome character, delicious dishes, great service. Keep up the good work.
Had a excellent experience in here with my kids. The food came quickly and the service is just great. Prices are reasonable.
Always very good food, friendly, good service
The food is delicious. I was spending time with my family and often times it is hard to get a reservation anywhere. I called about an hour before and they were able to accommodate us. Had a variety of dishes and all of them were satisfying. If you like spicy, you won't be let down. Pad see eew was.yummy.The real measure though was how much my parents liked it. As they often don't like to go out. My parents really enjoyed it and even asked for business cards so they could recommend this place to their friends.
I enjoy eating here. They usually do a good job customizing my order, leaving out boil or excessive spiciness. Services fast and friendly. But, if it's hot outside do not go here you will roast.
Food is absolutely perfecto👌 This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. On top of that, the staff is extremely kind and respectful. And willing to change a mistake in the order (which is SUPER rare)
Excellent lunch specials; great food, sizable portions, good prices and service! Need to eat here more!
Probably one of the better Thai restaurant in the area. The décor is OK, they've been updating little by little over the years, new table arrangements\ menu etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful but can be a bit hard to get their attention, seems like they are under staffed most of the time. The food is good, decent variety and fair price. Its not the best Thai restaurant I've eaten at or the most atmospheric, not the first date pick, more like a " let's get thai, but I don't want to get dress or drive too far" kind of place. Great go to to get your fixing.
Great food! Best Christmas Eve meal I've had in years. The yellow curry is particularly tasty on a cold night!
Tasty dishes. Good portions. Good service.
Food was mediocre. I ordered a tofu pad thai and vegetarian basil fried rice. Guess what was in my pad thai? A piece of Beef. This shows how they make their food. Not Quality. Thank you for ruining a bad meal.
This place is awesome. Duck curry, fried noodles, ice cream with fried bananas, you will die for all. They serve everything hot and fresh. I also tried spring rolls and coconut soup. All the foods were great!
This Thai restaurant in Alameda California is a lousy one. I order a few dishes to tryout since I am new to this place. But I found out their dishes are so-so not the best according to my opinion. Also their price is quite expensive compare to other Thai restaurants in town or nearby. I definitely do not recommend the people to come here for your lunch or dinner. Go elsewhere which is more cheaper and friendly. They look kind of mean too.
They serve large portions and for reasonable pricing. very friendly owner. Will visit again.
Great flavor all over. These people get "Thai spicy"!!!! Hope they add yam woon sen in their menu in future.
Very expensive mediocre Thai food, definitely not a good bang for your buck
Very good Thai Food and great selections of food. You can also customize your order which is a plus!
My first visit, It’s good but I’ve had better
Quick service and can always find a table.
The best pineapple fried rice!
Good selection of dishes, friendly staff, a little bit on the expensive side but worth it. Street parking.
